Tanks for plants combustion
As regards LPG storage tanks intended for combustion plants, CSM Lo Cascio of Caltanissetta produces tanks with capacities of 10 and 12.5 m3. These tanks are certified as assemblies in compliance with Directive 2014/68/EU (Ex 97/23/EC) and are equipped with the necessary safety and control accessories. Safety and operating accessories assembled to the reservoir
- No. 01 OMECA safety valve mod. EU 30 complete with OMECA sub-valves mod. ST 32; (No. 02 in the above-ground version);
- No. 01 Level indicator mod. 2074 Cotrako;
- No. 01 Liquid recovery valve VL 25;
- No. 01 OMECA filling valve mod. VRN 20L; (mod. VRN 20 FT version);
- No. 01 GSE 35 service group (gaseous phase) with balance valve, complete with connection with excess flow valve;
All inside a protective well measuring 900 x 1450 mm with hot-dip galvanized upper part and 2.5 mm thick textured aluminum cover.
External cladding
LPG tanks with capacities of MC. 10 and 12.5 can be buried directly without formwork, as they are coated with two-component epoxy-polyamine paint with very high dry residue, applied hot, for a final film thickness of no less than 500 microns, applied after careful sandblasting to almost white metal SA 2.5, according to UNI EN ISO 8503, and equipped with an adequate cathodic protection system.
Protection cathode
The cathodic protection system has the function of grounding the tanks.
The system is designed to achieve maximum efficiency and durability, so that the system operates regularly throughout the expected life of the Mg anodes.
Normally the expected period is about 20 years, after which it is sufficient to replace only the anodes.
