CSM Lo Cascio of Caltanissetta has recently focused its attention on the production of large capacity tanks, such as the “STGL M48 – M50 – M52” models, intended for the transport of liquefied gas. These tanks can be mounted on frames in both the load-bearing and self-supporting versions, and include the installation of primary or secondary transfer systems. Furthermore, the production of smaller tanks, mounted on trucks with suitable capacity, has been introduced.
The “STGL M48 – M50 – M52” series favors the load-bearing version for a series of significant advantages. The flexural-torsional rigidity is entirely assigned to the single frame, thus reducing the torsional stress on the tank structure. This design facilitates the disassembly and relocation of the tank on the frame, making extraordinary maintenance or complete replacement easier. Furthermore, the use of high-strength steel for the construction of the load-bearing structure of the truck significantly reduces thicknesses and weight, minimizing the increase in overall tare compared to other commonly used steels.
“Tank semi-trailers” for the transport of Liquefied Compressed Gases, class ADR2 Classification Code 2, load-bearing and self-supporting PRIMARY or SECONDARY; with volumetric capacity MC 48 – 52 – 54 - 55; with relative accreditation by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport N° 75/2015.
Guaranteeing customers professionalism and competitiveness, in compliance with current regulations, are the additional objectives that the company has achieved and aims to maintain, through continuous technical and commercial updating.
